Module 1 Relationships Unit 2 Our animal friends (Stage 1) Listening and speaking: Visiting the SPCA 设计说明 通过让学生猜一猜生活中常见的动物，让学生熟悉本课节话题，由此导入新课。学习生词，扫除语言障碍。将对话分成三部分进行学习，每一部分都先播放录音，让学生跟读，然后就对话回答问题，检验学生的理解能力。接下来，让学生分组练习朗读，并表演，锻炼学生的表达能力。然后讲解本课节的知识点，帮助学生夯实语言基础。最后结合当堂达标的练习，检测学生对本课节知识的掌握情况，查缺补漏。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学，让学生达成以下目标： 1.知识目标 掌握本课节新词汇：officer, society, prevention, cruelty, someone, puppy, thirsty, lovely, as, prefer。 2.能力目标 能听懂有关保护动物的对话，并回答问题。 3.情感目标 培养学生保护动物、爱护动物的意识。 重点难点 重点：掌握本课节新词汇。 难点：能听懂有关保护动物的对话，并回答问题。 教学准备 PPT课件；活动Listen and act的录音；有关动物的图片，如兔子、鸟、鱼、狗、猫等 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1. Guessing game. Show some pictures. Let the students guess which animal it is. T: It has red eyes and long ears. Answer: Rabbit. T: It has a small mouth and a long tail. It can sing and fly. Answer: Bird. T: It has no legs or arms, but it has a big tail. It can swim. Answer: Fish. T: It has four legs and a short tail. It likes eating bones. Answer: Dog. T: It has four legs and a long tail. It likes eating mice. Answer: Cat. T: It is a young dog. Answer: Puppy. 2. Pair work. Ask the students to work in pairs.
