Let the students work in groups. Discuss the following questions. Write the answers. (1) Where does Kitty live now? (2) Where is it on the map? (3) Is it near or far from her school? (4) How is her neighbourhood? (5) Does she enjoy living there? (6) How does she get to school every day? (7) How long does it take her to get to school? (8) Is it convenient for her family to go shopping? (9) Where do they usually shop? (10) How often do they go shopping? 2. Ask several groups to present their answers. The group with the most correct answers wins. 3. Check the answers together. Answers: (1) In Water Bay. (2) It’s in the north of the map. (3) It’s far from her school. (4) It’s not convenient. (5) Yes, she does. (6) She takes a bus to Sunshine Shopping Centre. Then she takes the underground to school. (7) It takes about forty minutes. (8) No, it isn’t. (9) In Sunshine Shopping Centre. (10) Once a week. Step 2 Warming up 1. Let the students talk in groups. Ask and answer. (1) Where do you live? (2) Is it near or far from your school? (3) Do you like living there?
