教学设计 教学课题 Unit 4 Space Lesson 10 Life in space 指导思想与理论依据 英语课标五级阅读要求：能找出文章中的主题，理解故事情节，预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局；要求学生能读懂相应水平的常见体裁的读物。能够根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的阅读策略获取信息。 结合英语学科核心素养，结合本课太空话题，对文章结构进行分析，利用层层深入的课堂教学活动，引导学生学习有关太空知识，发展语言技能，提升思维品质。 教材分析 本课是北师大版《初中英语》九年级（全一册）Unit 4 Space Lesson 10 Life in space本课是本单元的第一课。Unit 4 以“space”话题为主，Lesson 10主要介绍太空中的生活。 本课是阅读课，侧重对课文的理解。本文共五段。第一段为引入段，第二、三、四、五段分别对宇航员的生活不同方面的介绍。学生通过阅读策略获取文章所涉及的领域，再通过阅读，逐步搜索细节信息。在阅读过程中，讲解生词并运用推断等技巧完成练习3、4、5的习题。 学情分析 授课班级是初三（2）班。大多数学生学习积极性较高，比较活跃，有一定语言基础。经过将近三年的阅读训练，大部分学生已具备基本的读与写的技能。学生对太空的话题比较熟悉，之前的英语学习中也有所涉及，因此有一定的语言支持，但仅限于对阅读材料的理解。对文章的结构、层次不能进行有效的梳理。对获取的知识缺乏灵活应用的能力。因此，教学中要多做铺垫引导学生理清文章结构。同时在教学中注意个人学习和小组合作学习相结合，共同完成学习任务。 教学目标 在本课学习结束时，学生能够： 1.熟读文章中所出现的词汇（重点）。 2.通过梳理文章结构，获取文中涉及到的宇航员的各个方面（重点） 3.根据阅读，获取宇航员生活的具体信息。（难点） 4.了解航天员的生活，激励学生刻苦学习，并对航天工作者表示敬意。 教学步骤 教师的教学行为 学生学习行为 设计意图 Step 1 Lead-in 2’ Greeting. Show Ss some pictures about new words in this lesson. Look at the pictures and learn the new words. 利用图片，学习有关太空的单词。激发学生了解太空的兴趣。 Step 2 Pre-reading 5’ 1. Ask Ss the question: “Do you know the astronauts day ” Let Ss talk about the question and then share their ideas. 2. Ask them if there is an astronaut in our class, what questions will you want to ask 3. Collect some of the questions. Work in groups and talk about the question. List the questions they want to ask. 用问题引入新课，引导学生学会提问并收集学生的主要问题。 While-reading 20’ Let the Ss skim the whole passage and tick the areas mentioned. Ask the Ss to analysis the answers in the passage, give them help when necessary. 3. Ask Ss to read Ex. 4. Explain how to do it, then let them scan the passage again and finish it. Discuss the answers in groups.. Check answers with students, and explain the language items they meet. 4. Ask Ss to read questions in Ex. 5. Give them help when necessary. Let Ss scan the passage again and finish Exercise 5. Check the answers. Skim the passage and tick the areas. (Ex. 3) Analysis the answers. Finish off the Ex.4 Discuss the answers in groups .
