Show the other picture of the boy and his dog, lead them to observe again and try to ask the question: What happened to them Look at the picture, and then say what they can see. Look at the other picture and try to describe it. 从生活中的场景入手，引起学生兴趣；通过两张图片的对比，引发学生思考，激发好奇心，为后面通过阅读了解故事作心理上的铺垫。 Step 3 While-reading (26’) Reading Story 1 Ask the students to read the story on their own. Ask them to exchange information with other group members. (They can refer to the vocabulary book.) Read the story aloud to them and ask questions about key points to help them understand. Lead the students to guess the meanings of the unfamiliar words in the context. Read the story together and ask questions.
