课件网) 时间状语从句 掌握状语从句的关键 1.准确掌握每一个连词的含义。 2.注意主句和从句的时态呼应。 状语从句分类 表示时间 表示地点 表示原因 表示结果 表示目的 表示条件 表示让步 表示比较 时间状语从句？ 用表示时间的连词连接一个句子作状语，这样的主从复合句就是时间状语从句。 连接词：when, while, as, before, after, until, not…until, since, the moment, each (every , next, the first) time … 连接词类别 作 用 as as 从句中动词是延续性时，侧重表示主从句动作同时发生，意为“一边…一边…” when 强调动作的先后性，从句动词可以是延续性动词也可以是非延续性动词。 while 强调动作的持续性及同时性，从句常用延续性动词。 1.连接词when, while, as 的用法区别 用while, when填空： ① Mozart started writing music _____ he was four years old. ② He visited a lot of places _____ he was traveling. ③ She always listend to light music _____ she does some cleaning. when while as when 从句的主语与主句的主语相同，谓语动词是be 动词时，从句主语和be 可以省略 e.g. When (she was) walking along the street, she met her class teacher. 注意When 的特殊用法 2.when 可做并列连词用，表示“就在那时”相当于and at this / that time。 注意When 的特殊用法 We were having a class when someone broke in.(突然有人闯了进来). We were about to set off when it began to rain. (这时开始下雨了) while 的特殊用法 while 可用于对比，意为“然而” e.g. I prefer black tea, while he likes coffee. PRACTICE 1. A. as B. until C. while D. when A D 2).until/till He did not go to bed until he finished his work.（ 直到…才…） =Not until he finished his work did he go to bed. 注意: not …until 在句首时主句要倒装 表示“直到…为止”，在句首或强调句型中，一般用until; 在主句后，till 和 until 均可。 3).before “ 还未…就…”, “不到…就…” “…才 …”； We hadn’t run a mile before tired. (我们还没跑到一里就累了） Do it now before you forget. I have been teaching here since I graduated. 4). after “在…之后” He left the classroom after he had finished his homework the other day. 前几天他做完作业之后离开了教室。 He called me after he had finished his work. 工作完了之后他给我打了个电话。 5). as soon as “一…就…” I’ll tell him about it as soon as he comes back. 他一回来我就告诉他这件事。 As soon as he heard the news, he jumped with joy. 他一听到消息，就高兴地跳了起来。 6). since “自从...” ，主句常用现在完成时，从句常用一般过去时 We have been friends ever since we met at school. 我们自从在学校认识至今一直是朋友。 常用句型“ It is/ has been + 时间段+ since从句”译为“自从…多长时间了” It is three years since she joined the army. 时间状语从句其它引导词： the moment, the minute, every time, each time, by the time, the day等，也可引导一个时间状语从句。 The day he returned home, his father was already dead.
