He is the man that I saw yesterday. 两个分句并列, 即至少两套主谓宾系统，连词连接 英语中从句子结构的角度，将句子分成三种：简单句、并列句、复合句。来看几句话： 句子结构 I've bought the book for you. It's a small car, but it's surprisingly spacious(宽敞的). My mother was cooking when I came back. 简单句 并列句 复合句 1. 简单句只含有一套主谓结构。 两个或更多的并列主语拥有一个共同的谓语，甚至并列有两个主语和两个谓语，这样的句子仍然是简单句。看下面的句子： He and his brother went. They walked and laugh. Mr. Wang and I often work together and help each other. My friend, Tom found his money missing on the way home yesterday. The little kids stayed in the room. 2. 并列句 定义：由并列连词把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起的句子叫并列句。其结构为：简单句+并列连词+简单句 eg. He helps me and I help him. Hurry up, or you’ll be late. I offered to help him, but he refused. He was ill yesterday, so he didn’t go to school. 注意：并列句中的各简单句意义同等重要，相互之间没有从属关系，是平行并列 的关系。 一个主句和一个或一个以上的从句构成复合句。主句和从句都具有主语和谓语，但从句只是主句中的一个成分，不能独立存在。 eg. When we should start is still a question. That is why he did not come to school yesterday. They believe that the computer will finally take the place of human beings. The news that our team won is exciting. This is the missing boy who we have been looking for these days.
