Lesson8 Tigers and Bears 一、教学目标: 1. 知识目标: (1)学习动物词汇wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake;描述动物特征的词汇long , short. (2) 学生能认读、理解并使用下列句式:It’s long. It’s short. (3) 会唱英语歌:Big and Small 2. 能力目标: (1)能够听、说、读、写wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake; 认识并能听、说long , short. (2) 会唱英语歌:Big and Small (3)能够在真实情境中运用本课所学知识与人交流。 3. 情感目标: (1)保持学生持久的英语学习兴趣。 (2)教育学生热爱大自然,保护动物。 二、教学重点: wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake, long, short 三、教学难点: 能够用所学单词描述动物特征,初步认识is, are的用法。. 四、教学准备: 动物卡片,自制幻灯片、铅笔、尺子、玩具老虎。 五、教学过程: Step1.Warming-up and Revision 1.Greetings T: Hello! Boys and girls. S: Hello! Teacher. 2. Review T: (出示动物园的图片)Look! What’s this ( It’s a zoo.) Let’s go to the zoo to watch animals, ok 分别出示 panda, monkey, elephant的图片,并用下列问题复习上节课的内容:What’s this Is this a ___ What colour is it Is it ___ 3.说唱热身,引出新知。教师出示图片和学生一起唱自编chant. Elephant, elephant, a big big elephant. Bird, bird, a small small bird. Panda, panda, a fat fat panda. Monkey, monkey, a thin thin monkey. Step2. New concepts and Practice 1. wolf ,tiger ,bear, snake T: Do you like these animals Let’s learn more animals ,ok (1) Listen carefully, what’s this (播放老虎咆哮的声音,自然引出词汇tiger,教学tiger, 指导发音) (2) (电脑屏幕上呈现熊的一部分) Can you guess What animal is this (引出词汇bear,教学bear, 指导发音) (3) Now listen carefully, what’s this (让学生认真听狼嚎叫的声音,自然引出词汇wolf,教学wolf, 指导发音) (4) Now let’s guess! What animal is this This animal has no legs and no feet. It’s very long. Do you know what this is ( 通过猜谜语,引出词汇wolf,教学wolf, 指导发音) 2. Practice巩固单词-- Memory Game T: Let’s look! What animals are at the zoo (逐个出示所学动物图片,同时让学生说出所示动物的名字) 。让学生们记忆5秒,然后利用下面的句子说出教师所指图片的动物名字:T: What’s A S: Is it a (an) ____ S: Yes, it is. / No, it’s a (an) ____. 3. long or short (1)T: ( 出示一张短蛇的图片)What 's this S: It’s a snake. T: (把短蛇的图片放在长蛇图片旁边,分别指着两张图片) This is a snake. And this is a snake, too. But they are different. This snake is long. But that snake is short. (呈现单词long , short) (2) Practice巩固单词 a:利用实物(铅笔、尺子)练习单词long, short。 b: 小组练习 T: (找几名学生,指着头发) My hair is long . His hair is short. Her hair is long. 根据教师的演示,学生分组进行练习。 c: T:(出示大象的图片,指着大象的鼻子)Look at the elephant. Its nose is long. Its tail is short. (引导学生说出单词long, short) 讲解单词its。 (出示兔子的图片)鼓励学生描述兔子的外貌特征。教师可适时提示,强调ears是复数。 d: 小组练习 T:Look! I have some pictures. Let’s guess! What animal is it (学生根据教师的描述猜卡片上的动物)例: It’s fat. It’s white and black. (panda) It’s big. Its nose is long. (elephant) 学生根据教师的演示,同桌之间进行活动,然后学生演示。 4. Let’s sing! 听歌曲“Big and ... ...
