But they don’t know how to use adjectives to describe their characters. In today’s lesson, they are going to learn the usage of adjectives and adverb “very”. 一年级的学生比较活泼好动,注意力集中时间比较短暂。而对于他们来说,尽管已经学习了不同的动物,但是他们并没有学习过如何运用形容词描述它们的不同特点。因此,本节课通过采用不同的游戏形式锻炼他们的观察能力,通过观察总结出不同动物的特点。帮助他们在游戏中掌握形容词的用法。 教学重点与难点 Important points: Distinguish different adjectives and use them. Difficult points: How to use the adjectives to describe animals’ characteristics. 教学过程 Warm-up&Lead-in Greeting: Good morning, boys and girls. Sing the song “Old Macdonald”. Task presentation (1)Ask and answer. The teacher ask the question:What animals can you see on the farm Students answer the question: We can see pigs,chickens,cows and dogs. (2)Show the picture of a thin dog. Ask the question: What is it like (3)Read the title: It’s thin. [设计意图]学生通过欣赏并演唱歌曲,复习Unit One已经学过的动物,教师自然导入狗的图片,进而引出课题It’s thin. New words Teaching. Show pictures of a thin pig, two fat pigs, a big bear and a little bear. Teach the new words: thin,fat,very,big,little. [设计意图]教师通过运用白板的橡皮擦功能,聚光灯功能,帮助同学学习并理解形容词fat,thin,little,big以及副词very的用法。 Text Learning Watch and answer. The students watch CD and answer the question: How many pigs Read in details and finish the mind map. The students read and answer the questions: Who are they What is father pig like What is mother pig like What are baby pigs like [设计意图]学生通过观看动画,对课文有了总体把握。通过寻读,详细阅读,寻找细节问题的答案完成思维图,有助于对课文的细节理解,进一步强化形容词用法。 Listen, repeat and imitate. The students listen,read and imitate after the CD. Practice and perform. The students practise in groups and then they act the dialogue. Retell the story. The students retell the outline of the text according to the mind map.
