Introduce myself and show a video.Then ask what they think of English Step 2 Watch and learn To make the students know the meaning of the words directly and pay attention to their pronunciation. Show the pictures of the new words,such as basketball,volleyball,etc.Teach these new words. Step 3 Ask and answer To help the students to learn how to ask some simple questions and learn to speak the important sentences in this lesson.This step is helpful to the next step. By teaching the new words,the teacher helps the students to grasp the sentences. We study... We play... Where do you go to school? What do you like? What is your favorite subject? Work in pairs. Step 4 Ask the students to look at the picture in warm-up, and then ask some questions about it.Then ask them to read what Li Jun says.Then ask the students to introduce themselves as Li Jun does.Then they can come to the front to introduce themselves. To help the students to use all the sentences they have learnt in the first three steps.Now the students can make a short passage with the language they have learnt today. Step 5 Practice listening To improve the students’ listening comprehension. Listen to the record and help the students finish A and B in LISTENING.
