Unit 4 When is the art show Part B Read and write 教学设计 一、教学目标: 1. 能够正确听、说、认读单词:kitten, diary, still, noises, fur. 2. 能够听懂、读懂、内化日记的内容,并能在一定辅助下,写出介绍小动物成长的日记或者短文。 3. 能够掌握良好的阅读策略,积极大胆地尝试写作,提高自主学习能力。 4. 能够培养乐于合作的积极态度和热爱生活、热爱动物的情感态度。 二、教学重难点:重点: 1. 能够听懂、读懂并内化日记内容,掌握基本的阅读策略。 2. 能够在实际语境中交流运用描述性句型"They are... They have... 和 They can... 难点:能够提高阅读技巧,掌握基本阅读策略,并大胆尝试英文写作。三、教学方法:情境教学法、任务型教学法 四、教学过程 Step 1. Warm up 1. Let’s chant 2. Free talk: When is your birthday What will you do on your birthday (设计意图:通过 chant导入,活跃课堂气氛,结合 free talk,复习旧知,练习日期的表达,为后面的日期作铺垫,排除阅读障碍。) Step 2. Pre-reading 1. Watch a video about cats. 引出 baby cat or little cat means kitten. 教读 kitten 2. Our friend Sarah has a cat. Now her cat has two new kittens. 引出课题Sarah likes them and she writes down the changes in her diary. 引出 diary,教读单词 (设计意图:引出本课题目 Two new kittens,引出 diary,直接过渡到文本学习,带入文本情境。) Step 3. While-reading 1. Read and find out how many diaries does Sarah write. What are the dates 2. Read by themselves and find out difficult words: still, make noises, white fur. (设计意图:初步整体感知文本,发现疑难并处理。) 3. Read the first diary with 4 questions: What’s the date How old are they What are they like What can’t they do Ask a student to read the diary. Then answer the questions. (设计意图:培养学生带着问题进入文本,利用思维导图和设疑,让学生掌握基本的阅读策略和有效的阅读方法.) 4. Read the other diaries in groups. then discuss, underline the key information and fill mind map. Then listen and follow. (设计意图:小组合作,完成思维导图,检测学生提取关键信息的能力和阅读能力。) 5. Teacher conclude the story, ask “How does Sarah write the kittens’ changes ” 引导学生思考从 age, feature, skill 方面描述 (设计意图:锻炼学生归纳总结信息的能力) 6. Listen and repeat (设计意图:让学生听录音模仿短文,培养学生有感情的朗读课文的能力。)Step 4. Post-reading 1. Retell the diaries (设计意图:小组合作复述日记,锻炼学生的口头表达能力,为接下来的写作做铺垫。) 2. Summary & Homework Ask the students to say what they have learned in this class.
