Module 5 Relatives Units and thematic content: In this module, Ps learn how to name and describe family members. In Unit 9, Jiamin visits Ben, and he is looking at the family photos and ask questions and talk about Ben’s family. Ben tells some information about his family members. In Unit 10, Ms White asks Jiamin about the people in his family. The apostrophe-s for referring to individual families, for example, Jiamin’s family. To love and cherish every family members. To use the new language in speaking, listening and reading and writing. Teaching and learning steps: 1. Warm up: let’s chant: I love my family( Watch the video and have fun in doing the movements when chanting. Go over some of the family members of identities and the adjectives of describing a person. 2. PPT and look at the pictures and answer. Just to go over the fruits and the persons in the dialogues in Unit 8, then point to the headdresses and tell the relationship. Then understand people and the new word relatives( people of the family). 3.
