Unit 5 Do you have a soccer ball? 第三课时Section B 1a-2d Learning Goals: In this lesson, the students will learn to use descriptive adjectives “interesting,boring,fun,difficult,relaxing . The Ss should master the phrases: play volleyball /basketball, watch TV, a sports collection, every day . Sentences: Let’s play computer games. That sounds interesting. Teaching and learning steps: Step I. Pre-listening activities Greeting Say : Hello, how are you ?Ask the students to answer . 2、Review 1)Say :I have a basketball , it’s very nice .Do you have a basketball ? Ask some of the students to answer . Then ask : Does he have a basketball ? Let the students to answer : Yes, he does . No, he doesn’t. Then play a game :say a chant together. I have, you have, they have. She has, he has, Mary has. Do I, do you, do they? Does she, does he, does Mary? I don’t, you don’t, they don’t. She doesn’t, he doesn’t, Mary doesn’t. 2)Role-play the conversation P26 2d. 设计说明:本节课是第五单元的第三课时,因此在刚上课的时候应复习上节课的学习内容。a chant让学生会灵活运用所学知识(行为动词一般现在时的肯定句、否定句和一般疑问句)。另外让学生分角色表演对话,是检查学生对Section A的知识掌握情况的一个很有效的方法,而且学生对表演对话一向很喜欢。教师也可以对主动表演对话的学生给一些物质的奖励,如在黑板上画红旗、小红花等,也可给一些可爱的小贴画。 3. Lead in (1)Show some pictures boring fun Difficult Relaxing interesting Let the students guess these words ,because they have learned these words in the first class ,I think the students can finish this task easily. Then let the students match the words with the pictures ,finish P281a,then check the answer ,make sure the students can understand the meaning of these words and the spelling of these words. The answers are : interesting ___c___ 2. boring _d_____ 3. fun ____e__ 4. difficult ____b___ 5. relaxing ____a__ 设计说明:通过图片来学习这几个形容词,效果很好,学生能够通过图片记住这些生词的意思,这也是对生词课的一个很有效的复习。另外让学生看着图片说出单词和单词的拼写也可以检查学生对单词的记忆情况。 Step II. While-listening activities Show the picture ,say “Let’s play volleyball.” Help the students Answer “That sounds good. ” Then ask the students to act the conversation. A: Let’s play volleyball. B: That sounds good. Then show some other pictures, ask the students say these phrases out ,“play soccer 、play basketball 、 Watch TV 、 play computer games” and practice the conversation like this : A: Let’s play … B: That sounds … Practice the conversation in different ways .For example ,Teacher asks the students、boys ask girls、practice in pairs and so on. play soccer play basketball watch TV play computer games 设计说明:在这一环节中,让学生通过图片来复习一些词组和让学生学会使用描述性形容词:interesting,boring,fun,difficult,relaxing。对话的操练可以采取很多形式,师生之间,同位之间,男女之间,前位的同学问后位的同学等,尽量避免单一的操练方法。这些图片都是学生非常喜爱的运动,因此,在上课的时候学生的兴趣非常高, ... ...
