Knowledge Objectives:①Learn the phrases: make a mess, watch TV too often, read in bed, go to bed.②Learn the new pattern : You should…and You shouldn’t…③Be able to express the home rules. 2.Competence Objectives: Be able to express the home rules in real life situations, using the new pattern “You should…, You shouldn’t…” 3.Emotion Objectives:Be able to know that home rules are important for life. 二、教学重点 You should help to do housework. You should go to bed early. You should keep your room clean. You shouldn’t get up late. You shouldn’t watch TV too often. You shouldn’t read in bed. 三、教学难点 运用目标语言You should…和You shouldn’t…表达应该和不应该做的事情。 四、教具 卡片、卡纸、教学课件 五、教学过程 Step1: Warm-up / Revision 1). Greeting. T: Good morning.! Boys and girls! C: Good morning, Miss Li. 2). Free talk. 3). Review “School rules”. 通过课件呈现学生在学校学习和活动的图片,引导学生观察并讨论学校规则,复现以学和已知的语言。 T: What should good students do at school Ss: Listen to the teacher carefully. / Hand in homework on time. / Don’t make noise in class. / Don’t eat in class. / Ask and answer questions actively. Step 2: Presentation 1). 呈现情景。通过课件展示Peter在家的图片和他的妈妈非常焦虑的图片。   T:This is Peter. He is a good student at school. But his mother is very worried about him. Why What’s wrong with Peter   Ss: Maybe Peter is … T: OK. Let’s see the movie about Peter.(播放Peter在家的部分) Ss: Peter is not a good boy at home. 2). 学习Just talk 中的语段。 学生带着问题“What does Peter often do at home ”阅读第一部分。 T:What does Peter often do at home Ss: He often makes a mess in his home. He watches TV too often. He reads in bed and goes to bed very late. 借助卡片帮助学生理解相应短语的含义,教授本课新短语: make a mess / watch TV too often / read in bed / go to bed 学生跟读Just talk 第一部分,进一步熟悉Peter在家的表现。 3). 学习Just talk 中的家庭规则。引导学生思考Peter的妈妈应该怎么做。 T:Peter does all these things at home. His mother is very worried about him. What should she do Do you have any ideas Ss: I think she should… T: Peter’s mother can make some rules for Peter. If you are Peter’s mother, what would you say to Peter 学生对Peter妈妈提出的家规进行预测。 T:What does Peter’s mother say in the home rules 学生观看课件里的视频(home rules 部分),利用卡片学习句子,最后把板书整理成“Home rules”的形式。最后通读课文。 Step 3: Practice 1. 课件展示Tom 在家的图片,模仿Peter 的家规,告诉Tom该怎么做。练习表达: You should / You shouldn’t T: This is Tom.
