Match the words with the pictures. 3. Read the words after the teacher. 4. Introduce the new words. 5. Enjoy a song: Happy birthday. Step 2 Listening practice. 1. Make sure the students understand the symbols they must use to complete the chart 2. Play the recording through once while they just listen. 3. Ask the students to listen to the recording. 4. Play the recording again, then they can check their answer with a partner. 5. Call back the answer from the whole class and check the answer.
