Module 1 Garden City and its neighbours Unit 1 Writing a travel guide (Stage 2) Listening and speaking: Tour suggestions 设计说明 让学生结合上节课所学,根据景点的相关描述来猜测上海的景点,既能调动学生学习的积极性,又能增强学习的趣味性,还可以增进学生对于上海的了解。由此导入新课,为后面的学习做准备。接下来,学习方位介词的用法,并结合实际例子,让学生学会表达上海景点所处的方位,增强语言的实际运用能力。然后,学习对话,通过小组练习,让学生掌握对话内容并培养他们的积极性。然后,对重要的知识点进行讲解,打好语言基础。最后,设置适量的当堂检测题目,检测学生对所学知识的实际掌握情况。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 能够正确运用疑问句提问具体信息。 掌握情态动词can的用法。 2. 能力目标 通过针对性的问答训练,学会表达并敢于表达,锻炼独立思考的能力。 3. 情感目标 培养学生留心观察周围事物的习惯。 重点难点 重点:运用疑问句提问具体信息;掌握情态动词can的用法。 难点:让学生克服开口讲英语方面的畏惧心理,敢于表达。 教学准备 PPT课件 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in T: You will read four descriptions on the following pages. Each description tells about a famous place in Shanghai. They will appear sentence by sentence. Test yourself if you know Shanghai well. (1)This is a very famous street in Shanghai. There are a lot of huge department stores and you can buy many things there. The name of the street is from a city in Jiangsu. Nanjing Road (2)This is a big park in Pudong. When you enter the park, you will see many different wild animals. You have to take a bus when you travel through some places in the park. Shanghai Wild Animal Park (3)This is a park in Puxi. It’s very close to the Suzhou Creek. There is a lake and a hill in the park. Children enjoy boating on the lake. You can see a lot of sea animals in the park, too. Changfeng Park (4)It connects Pudong and Puxi. You cannot ride a bicycle on it but you can walk on part of it for sightseeing. It connects Huangpu District with Pudong New District. Lupu Bridge Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the students the following pictures and teach them how to describe the position of a place. Shanghai Grand Theatre is in the centre of Shanghai.
