W: You must speak good English, and be able to work in a team. By the way, how did you find out our company? M: I saw your want ad on the web. W: And why do you want to work for us? M: Your company is one of the largest and best firms in the industry. I think I can develop my abilities here, and make a big contribution. Can I get an interview? W: Please e-mail your resume to us first. We’ll give you an interview if you’re qualified. Text 8 W: You look so angry. M: I’d be a fool if I weren’t. W: So what happened? M: This morning I took my car to the garage to have them check the air-conditioner. They only gave it a quick look, refilled it with some Freon, and charged me 300 dollars! W: 300 dollars! No wonder you’re wild. I’d be mad too if someone cheated me like that. M: And on top of that they were rude. They said I didn’t know anything about cars. It’s true, but they didn’t have to be so straight! W: Maybe you should file a complaint to the Consumer Protection Agency. M: I’m thinking about it. Anyway, maybe I should forget about it, at least for now. I need a hot bath before dinner. Text 9 W: Jack, it’s nearly time for bed. Where’s Nancy? Is she going to stay up studying all night again?
