Lesson14: Happy Memories参考教案 Teaching Content : The words and expressions that must be grasped :mean, feast, get, together It reviews the vocabulary about what have learned about the birthday party. It teaches phases and vocabulary appropriate the these celebrations. The text engages students in comparing Chinese celebrations with Western celebrations, and to help students express themselves on similarities and differences between Chinese and Canadian culture. Teaching Aims: 1.Learn to talk about your family celebrations . 2.Know about how to talk about an important event, and enjoy you happy memories. 3.Understanding this passage of meaning. Teaching Important Points 1.Learn to write a happy memories. 2.Talk about your important event, and enjoy you happy memories, and what you will do. 3.The words and expressions appropriate to these celebrations. Teaching Difficult Points: 1.The similarities and differences between Chinese and Canadian culture. 2. Simple Future Tense . 3. Talking about memories. Lesson Preparation: Happy memories pictures. Lessoning Aids :Audiotape, recorder, sliders,flashcards, pictures Type of lesson: New lesson Teaching procedure: 一、 温故知新。 Check some words and phrases of lesson 14 and review Simple Future Tense. 二、 激情导入。 Step1.Show the class a picture of your family, then describe it. Step2.Work in group to discuss it . 三、 新课学习。 Step one: Showing the teaching aims on the blackboard and asking students to read them together. 1.Remembering some new words and phrases of lesson 14 work in group. 2.Talking about season. 3.Understanding the passage meaning. Step two: Come to “THINK ABOUT IT” Work in group and talk about it. Step three: Learning lesson 14 by themselves in groups. 1.Listen to the passage and correct pronunciation. 2.Listen to the dialogues and number the pictures.
