Brainstorming. 2. Play a guessing game. Ss read the sentences and guess the names of the animals. 设计意图: 通过头脑风暴、猜谜游戏调动学生的积极性,既能有效活跃课堂气氛,又能顺利导入新知学习。 Step 2 Pre-listening Activity 1 1. T lets Ss look at the picture and say what they can see. Activity 2 1. T plays the recording. Ss listen and check the words they hear in Activity 1. 2. T elicits the answers. 3. T lets Ss work in pairs and say what they can see. Step 3 While-listening Activity 3 1. Listen and choose the correct answers. 2. Listen again and answer the questions. 3. Welcome to Beijing Zoo. 欢迎来到北京动物园。 welcome to+地点名词,意为“欢迎来到某地”。 2. The zoo has many kinds of animals, such as bears, zebras, giraffes and pandas. kind作名词,意思是“种类”,many kinds of意为“许多种”,其后面加可数名词复数/不可数名词。 such as意为“比如,例如”,用于列举两个或两个以上的例子。其同义词组是for example,用于列举一个例子。 3. Shall we go and see them 我们去看看他们好吗? 这是英语中表示提建议的句子,表示“我们……好吗?”。 4. Is there a panda called Tony... 有只叫托尼的熊猫吗? called是动词call的过去分词,意为“被叫做”,在此句中called是过去分词做后置定语,修饰a panda。 Activity 5 1.
