Help students be able to understand the meaning of the story in the help of teacher and some pictures. (3). Help students be interested in strategy and joining in every activity. (2). Help students be able to get some meanings of the difficulties while they have an extensive reading with the help of guessing or discussing with partners. (3). This lesson is the last period of this unit, and the main content is present progressive. So it is easy for them to understand the sentence “The gorilla is eating a banana.” Most of the students can guess the meanings of “gorilla, popcorn, sign, exciting”, we must pay attention to the pronunciations. Some of them have their own thoughts, so as a teacher, During the teaching, I use different kinds of reasonable and effective teaching methods to encourage them to say, use and discuss.
