What a cute baby! 你多可爱啊! ★ suit [su:t] v. 适于 ① v. 适合；适宜于 这个外套一点儿都不适合我。 This coat doesn’t suit me at all. 2）n. 套装 I was wearing my black suit. 我穿着我的黑色套装。 ★ as well 同样 她会说德语，我也会说德语。 She can speak German. I can speak German as well. 她想洗澡，我也想洗澡。 She wants to take a bath. I want to take a bath as well. 辨析 also → 比too正式一些，语气较重，只用于肯定句，一般紧靠动词 too → 语气较轻，多用于口语，在肯定句中使用，通常位于句末 as well → 一般不用否定句，通常放在句末 形容词的比较级和最高级 两者进行比较时，用比较级， “比…更” 三者或三者以上进行比较时，用最高级， “最…”. 比较级的变化规则： 1.单音节词尾加er和est变成比较级和最高级 new—newer—newest hard –harder—hardest great—greater—greatest cheap , short, long, light, high 2.单音节以e结尾，只加r和st large—larger—largest nice—nicer—nicest close, fine, large, rude 3.以重读闭音节结尾，且词尾只有一个辅音字母的词，应双写这个辅音字母，再加er, est. fat—fatter—fattest big—bigger—biggest thin, hot, fat, sad, wet 4. 以‘辅音字母+y’结尾的单词，先把y去掉，再加ier和iest. easy—easier—easiest happy—happier—happiest heavy, healthy, busy, lucky, pretty, funny 5.其它双音节和多音节词皆在词前面加more和most difficult—more difficult—most difficult important—more important—most important interesting important careful expensive 6.不规则变化 good/well—better—best bad/ill—worse—worst many/much—more—most little/few—less—least 比较级和最高级的用法 1. 比较级只用于两者之间 常用于‘比较级+than’结构中。 他比我胖 He is fatter than I. 2.最高级常用于“the+最高级+比较范围”结构 她是这个班里最好的学生。 She is the best student in the class. 形容词最高级加the,副词最高级常可省去the. 练习 1) 他比我要聪明 He is cleverer than me. ... ...
