【教案】新人教版 必修二 Unit 2 Listening and Speaking 课 题 UNIT 2 WIDELIFE PROTECTION Period 1 Listening and Speaking 学 科 英 语 班 级 授课教师 教 学目 标 By the end of this section, students will be able to: 1. identify and listen for some new words and phrases, such as extinction, habitat and die out. 2. use visuals to predict content before listening; 3. listen and talk about facts and opinions about endangered wildlife; 4. recognize the stress patterns of polysyllabic words, and read these words correctly. 教 学 主 题 本板块听力部分的活动主题是“谈论濒危野生动物保护”（Talk about saving endangered wildlife）。大多数学生因为生活经历的限制，可能对野生物种的生存状况了解不多。通过教科书中的海报图片以及其他听力活动的设置，让学生了解野生物种正以惊人速度从地球消失的事实和原因，认识到人类不恰当的消费（如食用鱼翅等）与濒危野生物种的消失有直接关系，进而增强保护野生物种的意识和责任感。同时也让学生看到，拯救野生物种，人类在行动。一些有责任感的公众人士，如中国的姚明、英国的威廉王子等，都在为保护濒危动物呼吁。语音部分主要帮助学生学习区分多音节单词的重读音节、次重读音节和非重读音节。三个活动旨在培养学生在真实交际场合中分辨多音节单词重音的意识和能力。 教 学 重 点 1. 引导学生掌握该板块出现的新词汇和短语； 2. 引导学生在听前，能够利用图片等视觉资源预测听力内容； 3. 引导学生能准确理解关于野生动物保护的听力文本内容； 4. 引导学生能够正确拼读多音节词并准确辨音。 教 学难 点 引导学生就如何参与野生动物保护表达自己的观点，并与同伴交流野生动物的生存状况和保护措施。 教 学 内 容 与 过 程 Lead-in 展示主题图片，并提出问题引发学生讨论，为后面的教学活动做准备： What do you think of when you see this photo Do you think that elephants are an endangered species What other wild animals are in danger Step 1 Pre-listening 引导学生学习P14活动1中的学习策略，利用图片等视觉资源预测听力内容。 What message do these posters share Which one moves you the most Why Step 2 While-listening （1）播放第一段录音，让学生完成活动2。 （2）播放第二段录音，让学生完成活动3。 Step 3 Post-listening 让学生阅读两段文本，通过问题让学生关注更多细节。 How many species die out every day Why are so many species dying What does “Change begins with you” mean What should we do about endangered animals （2）让学生角色扮演活动5的对话，选择图片中的一种动物，并谈谈你对该动物的了 解以及对他们所采取的保护措施。 What do you know about the animals in the photos What is being done to help them Step 4 Pronunciation （1）老师帮助学生了解单词重音的标记方法，让学生两人一组，互相朗读单词，完成 P15活动1。 （2）老师播放录音，学生完成P15活动2，边听边读边确认。 （3）老师播放P15活动5的示范对话的录音，学生圈出其中的多音节词并大声跟读，然 后让学生识别这些多音节词的重读音节类型。 Step 5 Homework 1.
