The seven period(第七课时) Part C Story time 内容分析 本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第二册Unit3第七课时。本课时是在基本掌 握本单元重点词汇和句型的基础上,进行的故事阅读课。主人公仍然是我们的老朋友Zoom和Zip。这次,他两个比谁认识的动物多。故事内容极其简单。绝大部分内容都是动物名称的罗列。这些动物都有相似的地方。在学习故事的时候,要指导学生使用形容词来描述它们的具体特征,以及区分这些动物。此外,还要向学生渗透保护动物的意识和观念。 课时目标 知识与能力 能够完成阅读活动,正确理解、认读本单元重点句式。 能够掌握该课时所涉及的动物单词“lion,fox,wolf,zebra,gorilla,horses”和形容词。 过程与方法 首先,教师先播放单元歌曲,和学生一起做热身活动,以此来吸引学生的注意力,增加学习兴趣。 其次,通过理解故事内容,学习一些表示动物的新单词“lion,fox,wolf,zebra,gorilla,horses”以及修饰动物的形容词“small”。让学生根据意群,准确的朗读故事并进行表演。 最后,通过有趣有意义的故事,来增加学生语言的输入并引导学生逐步适应文本阅读。从而达到情感升华。 情感态度价值观 在学习故事的时候,指导学生使用形容词来描述它们的具体特征,向学生渗 透保护动物的意识和观念。 教学重难点 教学重点 对Story time的理解和认读。 教学难点 Story time中动物单词的认读。 教学准备 教学课件、课文录音、视频、单词卡片等。 教学媒体选择 多媒体,录音。 教学活动 唱歌 游戏 观看视频 教学过程 Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in 1.Play a song———At the Zoo.(课件出示:书本第30页的Let’s sing,包括其歌词。) The teacher ask students to sing together after listening. Let’s talk The teacher take out some word cards about animal. And ask students to read the following sentences which describe the animals. For example: Look at the rabbit. It’s small and short. It has long ears. It has a short tail. It has short legs. It’s white. I like it very much. Step 2: Presentation & Practice Look and say (1)The teacher can put some pictures on the PPT first. (2)Then ask students to have a discussion about the above pictures. (3)Answer the following questions: Q1:How many animals do you see Q2:Do you know their names T:Today we will see more animals. Let’s go to the zoo. Watch the cartoon Teach students to learn new words by word cards. They are tiger,monkey,lion, fox, wolf, zebra, gorilla, horse. T:What’s this? Ss:It’s a lion. T:What’s that? Ss:It’s a tiger. Practice the above words. Game 1 ———Bomb The teacher put eight word cards about animals“tiger,lion,fox,wolf,zebra,gorilla,horse,monkey”. And put one bomb in them. Then the teacher show them at random and the students must speak out them quick in English. When present“bomb”,students should say“bomb”loudly together. Game 2 ——— I say you do Before game,students should hold the word cards in hands first. When the teacher speak out“zebra”,students should find out the word card quickly and read it loudly. Then ask students play the game in pairs in front of the class. Have a discussion about the differences of the animals which are given.
