    The seventh period(第七课时) Part C Story time 内容分析 本课是PEP小学英语五年级第二册Unit 2第七课时。本课时主要讲Zip 和Zoom讨论四季,重现了本单元部分重点词汇和核心句型,并加入了两个生词“Merry Christmas”和“cheese”,目的是通过一个有趣味又有意义的故事,增加语言的输入,并且使学生逐步适应文本阅读。 课时目标 知识与能力 能够结合图片,理解故事大意。 能在实际情景中表演对话,要求模仿自然,语调标准。 能按正确的意群及语音、语调朗读故事。 能表演故事,恰当运用故事中的语言。 过程与方法 本课时主要采用情景教学法和直观法两个教学手段,首先,通过学习小故事,来复习和巩固前面学习过的内容。强调以学生为主体,从学生的学习兴趣和生活经验入手,使学生通过感知、体验、实践和参与的方式实现学习任务目标。 其次,播放视频,让学生认真观看且尝试跟读音频材料。 最后,利用故事表演的形式,让学生进行角色扮演,既能使得课堂活跃起来,也能让学生动起来,以达到理解和会读Story time的目的。 情感态度价值观 学生通过讨论四季,对生活增加更多热爱。 教学重难点 教学重点 1.能全面复习本单元的核心词汇。 2.能理解故事内容。 教学难点 能够运用故事中的语言,进行对话形式的表演。 教学准备 教学课件、故事视频,Zoom 和Zip头饰等。 教学媒体选择 多媒体,录音。 教学活动 小组表演 2. 游戏 教学过程 Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in Greetings. Review&Lead-in Play a song———What’s your favorite season. (课件出示:教材unit2的歌曲,包括其歌词。)In order to let students review the key words and sentences which they have learned the other days. Teacher present the words“season,spring,summer,autumn and winter”one by one quickly and ask students to answer its Chinese meaning at once. Who can speak out fast and correctly,he/she is winner. (课件出示:单词season和四个季节的单词。) Play a game———Bomb. In this game,students can review different activities in four seasons. The phrases are go on a picnic,go swimming,pick apples and make a snowman. (课件出示:上述短语go on a picnic,go swimming,pick apples and make a snowman在PPT上。) Free talk Review the sentence patterns“Which season do you like best ”“—I like ...best.”“Why?”“Because...”(课件出示:上述句型,并让学生在小组内自由问答。) Step 2: Presentation Play a video of the story and ask the students to watch the video with questions : Q 1. Which animal do you like best Q 2. What does koala usually do on Christmas Day in Australia? Q 3. What are they talking about T: It’s really a funny story, isn’t it Now please look at the pictures and listen to the story. (课件出示:播放故事录音,让学生听音、跟读,感知语音。) Let’s check together (1)Teacher need to evaluate the answers given by students. (2)Teacher can praise and reward students who answer correctly. 3. Self-study Ask students learn the story in groups,and underline the words and sentences which they don’t know. Then choose group leaders report these problems in class.
