冀教版(三起)五年级上册Lesson7 China The Analysis of Teaching Materials This teaching content is Lesson7, Unit2 of Hebei Education Press Primary English Book. It’s the beginning of the second unit: My Country and English Speaking Countries. It paves the way for the next lesson. This lesson mainly talk about the map of China and the language, the capital city, the flag and the famous places of China. The teaching content is nearly to students’ life and it can cultivate the ability to use language. It can also motivate the emotion of patriotism. The Analysis of Students The students in grade 5 are very active, curious and interested in new things. They have some basic English background knowledge and know a few about China. So I’ll attach importance to communicate with students and provide them the chances of using language. Teaching Aims 1.
