Ability Aims: Try to use some listening skills: short writing; prediction. Emotion Aims: Try to read more classics around the world. The more books you read, the happier you will be. Key points and difficulties: To tell of the comments of some western classics and the use of the present perfect tense. Learning Procedure: Step1. Free talk& leading-in 1) Talk about the kinds of books the students like. T: Do you like reading What kind of books do you like, storybooks, comic books, science fictions or classics S: … …. T: Of all the books, I like classics best. 2) Show some Chinese classics: Journey to the West, A Dream in Red Mansions, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Heroes of the Marshes. 【设计意图】:通过师生对话谈论彼此感兴趣的书籍导入新课,并由中国四大名著为下一环节引出西方经典名著做铺垫。 Step2. Presentation Learn some western classics. 1) Show some pictures of famous books to Ss and get Ss to name them . Read after the teacher some times. 2) Match the book titles with the pictures. 2.
