Look at the photo and answer the questions. An English corner can help with your spoken English! Pre-listening We are going to listen to a conversation between Tony and his dad. Read the questions in Activity 2 and predict the answers on your own. Tony: Have you made much progress in your Chinese, Dad Dad: Yes, I have. I’ve practised it every day. My level is better than it was last year, even though I haven’t been to classes. But my handwriting still isn’t very good. I’ve still got some work to do on that. And I still find reading Chinese quite difficult. Tony: Do you think you have to be really smart to be good at a foreign language Listen and read after the tape Dad: No, I don’t.
