Guide the students to master the elements of the book review and use the language knowledge to write a book review. Step1:Guide the students to talk about their understanding of the novel The Little Prince . Step2:Let the students read the book review about The Little Prince and find the five elements listed in the column . ·the title of the book · the name of the author ·the genre · a memorable character · a quote from the book Step3:Ask the students to read the book review again and answer the questions. 1. What is the plot of the book 2. What is the key message of the book 3. What does the reviewer think of the book Answers: 1. The story tells about a pilot who has crashed in the desert. While the pilot is trying to fix his aeroplane, a little prince from another planet comes to him. He recounts his adventures to the pilot and they become friends. 2. It talks about the importance of looking beneath the surface of things to uncover their real meanings. 3. The reviewer thinks it is a touching book that everyone should read, whatever their age.
