Unit2 SectionA(1a-2d)优质课教案 一、教学目标: 1. 知识目标: 1). To learn to make small talk. 2). To learn to make small talk using tag questions. 2.能力目标: To learn to make successful small talk with strangers. 3.情感目标 To know about different cultures and rules about small talk, learn to communicate with strangers. 二、教学重难点 1. To make small talk using the tag questions. 2. To make successful small talk with strangers. 三、教学准备 本课选用交际教学法,充分利用电教化教学手段创设情景,利用班班通等辅助设备,培养学生直接用英语理解、表达和思维的能力。 四、教学过程 Step1: Warming up 1. Show the teaching aims and Group contest. 设计意图:出示教学目标,让学生明确本节课学习任务及要达到的目标;布置本节课小组之间的比赛任务,激发学生学习积极性和参与意识。 2. Free talk 1. Do you often meet strangers in your daily life 2. Have you tried making a small conversation with strangers 引出small talk这一语言项目。 设计意图:与学生谈论日常生活相关的话题,从而自然导入本课的语言点 small talk。 Step2 Study new language 1. Leading in T: Watch a video about small talk, then answer one question, “Where are they making small talk ” S: “At the party.” 设计意图:由于课文内容简单扼要,没有情境铺垫,学生难以进入学习语言的状态,因此创设循序渐进的情境非常必要。观看一个small talk 的小视频,能够吸引学生,把学生带到学习新知 的情境里去。 2.教学1a T: Besides “at the party.” Can you tell me other places where people would make small talk 学生思考后纷纷举手回答列举small talk可能发生的地点。 设计意图:学习small talk 这一语言项目,先要认识明确small talk 所发生的场所。通过观看视频并回答问题,让学生初步感受,然后启发学生思考,进行大脑风暴,说出其他可能发生闲聊的场所和情形,为接下来听力教学做好铺垫,培养学生积极思考,主动学习的能力。 3. Listen and do 1b T: Look at the pictures. There are four different places. People are making small talk there. Listen and number the pictures in the order you hear them. 设计意图:学生通过思考发言列举,对闲聊可能发生的场合有了一定的了解,为听力1b做好铺垫,听前,教师对所听内容进行听前指导,这样听时学生才会心中有数,有的放矢地去听,并达到一个良好的效果。 4. Speaking practice Pairwork: Practice the conversation in 1c. T: From the picture, we can see people are making small talk. But, how do they start their small talk 呈现3幅1a中的画面,先让学生结对合作,尝试猜测并补全每幅图中的small talk. 然后让学生齐读:“You like action movies, don’t you ” 告诉学生这样的句子称为tag questions.它经常被人们用来开始闲聊。然后让学生根据图片内容,结对模仿做small talk. 设计意图:在明确闲聊的场所之后,继续借助1b听力图片,引导学生去思考他们怎样开始闲聊的,引导学生通过猜测,补全对话的方式,初步学习感知新的语言项目。让学生试着去猜测他们的谈话内容,能够引起学生的兴趣,用发散思维积极思考。这一过程中,结对和小组合作起到互帮互助,合作探究的作用,学习效果好,参与热情高。 Step 3 Listening practice (1) Pre-listening 呈现一幅图片,让学生结对尝试自己做small talk. 结果,有的是成功的small talk.有的是不成功的。从而引出“How can we make successful small talk ” 告诉学生,The key i ... ...
