What is he/she doing He/ She is …. 学情分析 五年级的学生有一定的知识储备,对于现在进行时态,学生掌握较好,但一些动词现在分词的构成,如swimming, running, riding等容易出错,教师要通过归类、梳理、总结的方法,让学生加以巩固。帮助学生记忆,并在真实的情境中运用。 五年级的学生,已经能用英语简单介绍自己的信息,如姓名,年龄,爱好等。通过本课的学习,引导学生能对他人的情况作较为详细的介绍或描述。 重点难点 教学重难点 1. 学习单词:China, the USA. 2. 学习句型:What are you doing I’m…. Enjoy a song The More We Get Together 3.通过歌曲,教师引出朋友在我们的生活中是是你重要的。 T: Friends are important in our life . 4.教师在PPT上呈现儿子照片,说:Look . This is my son . My son is important for me . What about you 5.教师抛出问题:Who else is important in our life 6.师呈现PPT(如图),并总结: Friends, teachers , family, classmates are important . 7. 师告诉学生,今天我们来谈论Friends, 并揭示课题 Unit 8 My Friends Part A Step 2 Presentation 教师在先简单的自我介绍,T: Do you want to know more about me 随后让学生提出自己想知道教师的一些信息的问题。 2.出示本册书本中的人物,让学生说出他们的名字。 3.教师呈现描述有关Peter 的信息的句子,让学生猜Who’s the boy 4.请学生描述Peter. Step 3 New Lesson (一)学习课文二、三段。 1.教师在上PPT上出示预设问题,学生自读课文,找出Who’re Peter’s friend 2.通过学生回答问题 Who’re they --They are Sally and Wang Tao .教师在黑板贴上Sally 和 Wang Tao的头像,完成板书的第一步。 教师呈现问题Where is Sally /Wang Tao from 并贴词卡be from ,播放课文视频,并让学生从课文中找出答案。 (1)教学句子She is from the USA . ①由生回答问题Where is Sally from --She is from the USA . 板书并教学句子She is from the USA . ②游戏:左右手快速反应。 (2)教学句子He’s from China .和单词China . ①由生回答问题Where is Wang Tao from 板书并教学句子He’s from China . ②音标教学 教学China 教师出示选项 He is a ____boy. 引出单词Chinese. 利用单词卡片,快速反应巩固单词China和Chinese。 6.教师呈现问题What is Sally/Wang Tao good at 并在黑板上贴上单词卡be good at,再次播放视频,并让学生从课文中找出答案。 ①由生猜问题What is Sally good at 引出答句Sally is good at English.教师板书 English. ②生回答问题:What is Wang Tao good at 引出答句He is good at sports. 教师板书 sports. ③Game. 叠宝塔 学生根据老师给的信息, 谈论Sally和Wang Tao. (如图下) 8.教师播放课文录音,学生听音模仿跟读。 (三)学习课文一段。 1. 教师出示课文第一段的图片,Peter 正在阅读邮件的图,并贴着黑板上,请学生回答:What is he doing 由选项A: Reading a book . B: Reading an email.引出答句He is reading an email. 2.完成Ask and answer .
