Please look at some pictures, can you guess what they are (show students pictures one by one, let them guess) Ss: cellphone, couch potato, mouse potato. cellphone couch potato mouse potato T: With the development of the information technology people use different means to communicate with others. Can you tell me what they are (show pictures) TV and the Internet is getting more and more popular. Let’s learn the passage to understand more about them. 教学目的：教师通过游戏引起学生学习兴趣，通过提问引导学生回顾学过的单词，自然导入本节课主题：电视和网络在日常生活中越来越普及。 Step 2：While-reading 25min Read fast: Teacher asks students to read the text fast and match the main idea of each paragraph. And underline the key information. Try to complete the table below.
