
Unit 6 I'll make a beautiful card 教学目标(Teaching aims) (一)认知目标 1. 词汇:能听懂,会说,正确认读新单词Mother's Day card, gift, restaurant, rose, a box of chocolates; 能听懂,会说单词favourite,celebrate。 2. 句型:学习句型 “What will you do for your mother? I’ll…” “Happy Mother’s Day!” (二)能力目标 能用句型:What will you do for your mother I’ll…与他人简单谈论将来的活动或计划;能用句型:Happy Mother’s Day! 来表达自己最诚挚的祝福,并学会感恩。 (三)情感目标 1. 激发学生学习英语的兴趣,帮助学生树立学好英语的信心,并在成功中体会英语学习的乐趣。 2. 通过本课的学习,使学生学会感恩父母,并在母亲节来临之际运用所学句型谈论自己将会为母亲准备什么样的礼物。 学情分析 1. 本单元的教学对象是小学五年级的学生,大部分学生已经有了英语学习的经历,具有一定的英语基础,而且英语学习兴趣较为浓厚,思维活跃,一小部分学生有课外知识作为后盾,能起到积极带头的作用,善于与同学交流,乐于表现自己,渴望得到同学和老师的赞许。而其余的学生也在学习的过程中形成了一定的听说读写的习惯,有较好的基础。 2. 五年级的学生情感丰富,与自己的母亲有着深厚的感情,了解自己母亲的喜好,在谈论感恩母亲时很容易产生共鸣。 3. 学生在第一、二单元刚刚学过“be going to”这个表将来句型,与本单元要学习的I will这个句型的意思和用法非常接近。 重点难点 重点: 1.能听懂、会说、认读Mother's Day card, gift, restaurant, rose, a box of chocolates, favourite, celebrate; 2.能听懂、会说部分A部分的对话,并和他人简单谈论母亲节。 难点: 学生在本单元第一次接触到一般将来时的语法现象,教授本单元时正遇上母亲节即将来临,教师可以以此为契机设置情境,让学生利用I will这个句型谈论将如何庆祝母亲节。 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1. Greetings: Teacher and students greet each other. 2. Revision. “When’s your birthday ” “When’s your mother’s birthday ” Step2 Presentation 1.Learn some new words: 1) learn Mother’s Day T: Boys and girls, do you know there’s a festival for our mothers It called Mother’s Day. T: When is Mother’s Day It’s on the second Sunday in May. 2) Learn the new word: will. T:Mother’s Day is coming. What will you do for your mother 教读will 2. Learn the sentence pattern: —What will you do for your mother —I’ll… 3.Learn some new words: 1) Show a picture, learn the new word: gift. 2) Show a picture, learn the new word: rose 3) Show a picture, learn the new word: a box of chocolates 4) Show a picture, learn the new word: Mother's Day card 5) Show a picture, learn the new word: restaurant 6) Ss read the new words by heart. 4.Play a game: Which one is missing Ss find which word is missing. 5.Pair work: use the new words and sentence pattern to make a dialogue with your partner. 6. Learn the dialogue of part A: 1) Listen and fill in the form T: Mother’s Day is coming .The children will do something for their mothers.Listen to the tape ,and try to fill in the following form. 2) Listen and read T: Ok, let’s listen to the dialogue again.
