A rhyme 一、Teaching aims and request 1.巩固本单元的核心词汇和核心语言,并能在日常交际中熟练运用。 2.能读懂Read,think and write板块的短文,并能根据短文内容填写表格;能运用I .. at ... in America, but now I…at…(in China)句式对比中、美两国小学生作息时间的差异。 3.能够听懂并掌握字母组合sh,wh在单词中的发音。 4.在学习中积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务;在课堂交流中注意倾听,积极思考;乐于接触外国文化,增强祖国意识。 5.通过课文学习,了解中、美两国小学生日常作息时间的差异。 二、Teaching points and difficulties (一) Points 1. 字母组合wh, sh的发音。 2. 句型I usually...的巩固练习,能够熟读Read, think and write部分的内容。 (二) Difficulties 1. 字母组合sh的发音。注意让学生区分平翘舌。 2. A rhyme部分I get up as early as I may.中as的用法。 三、Teaching preparation 英语书、单词卡片、电子课本、实物图片、课文录音、照片等。 四、Teaching process Step 1: Warm-up 1. Teacher make cards of phrasal verbs that they have learned in the previous unit. 2. Ask the students to answer according to the actual situation.“What do you usually do after school ” 3. Read“Listen and say”. Act out a new dialogue in pairs. Step 2: Presentation 1. The teacher shows a group of letters on the blackboard combination sh, and read the phonetic symbol [ ], and then show the two words, one is the ship, the other is a sheep. While emphasizing the pronunciation of the letter combination“ sh”the teacher read these two words correctly and let the students compare them. The “i“ in ship is pronounced as short [i], while the letter combination“ee“in sheep is pronounced as long [i :]. Then teach the“wh”in the same way. Finally,the teacher and the students say tongue twisters together “The sheep in a ship sees a white whale in the sea.” 2. The teacher shows a picture of go to work and say“go to work at half past seven.” Let the students understand the meaning of this sentence first. next ask students“When do you go to school ”let students answer with“I go to school at …”Then the teacher asks the students about the phrase "go to school" by substituting other phrasal verbs.
