Warming-up and lead in Sing a song together--“This is my family”。 Step 2. Pre-listening 1.Teacher present the picture of the family and introduce the family members. Then Ss can learn the words which are used for talking about the family. 2.Let Ss look at the family tree in 1a and add the words in the box to the family tree. And then check the answers together. Step 3. While-listening Ask Ss to read the words in 1b by themselves. Then let Ss listen and check the words they hear in 1b. Let Ss look at the two pictures and discuss in groups to find the differences between the two pictures. Ask some Ss to share their answers and make comments. Ask them to listen to the material again, and this time they need to find out the picture Jiang Tao and Tom are talking about. Ask them to share their answers. Listen to it for the third time and imitate. Let Ss pay attention to the way how they introduce their family members. Step 4. Post-listening Let Ss draw a family tree just like the tree in 1a. Then work in pairs to make a conversation about the family tree using the words and sentences we have learned. Read about Jenny’s family and circle the names and then complete the sentences. Step 5. Summary Let Ss summarize what we have learned in this class and then T make a supplement. 【主问题处理过程】 Follow the song to sing. Learn the words which are used for talking about the family.
