Module 8 Choosing present Unit2 She often goes to concerts 一、Teaching objectives: 1、Knowledge objectives: The students can read, write and know about the meaning of the following words and phrases. CD, concert, magazine, scarf, silk, dress, T-shirt, choose, exercise, wear, expensive, shoe, spend, money, film, song, match, weekend stay healthy, get some exercise, a lot of/lots of, go to the cinema, go to concerts, on television at/on weekends, watch football 2、Skill objectives: (1)The students can master the uses of the key words and phrases. (2)The students can introduce others,hobbies by using the present simple tense. (3)Master the use of Nouns of the possessive case skillfully. 3、Emotional objectives: Encourage the students to be happy to make friends and do sports .At the same time, tell them to care for their family and friends. 二、Teaching approaches: 1、Cooperative learning teaching method. 2、Task-based teaching method. 三、Teaching Resources: cards, pictures, multimedia, objects in the classroom. 四、Teaching Procedures: Period One Stage One: Preparation( the first “P”) Step One:Warm- up and lead-in: Play a video about having a birthday party to the students and ask the questions: T: Hello, boys and girls. At the beginning of our class, let,s look at the short video together, OK Ss: OK. …… T: They are having a happy birthday party. T: Do you celebrate your birthday every year Ss: Yes, I do. Step Two: Presentation: 1、 Show the students the pictures about the new words and learn them.
