EEC Primary English Grade Five Unit 3 : What Are You Going to Do 一、Teaching Aims: 1. Knowledge objectives: ① The students can listen, speak, read and write: visit, learn Chinese, plan for…, What are you going to do I’m going to… ② The students can listen, speak and read: hear, summer vacation, go to Australia, What is she / he going to do She / He is going to…; What are you / they going to do We / They are going to… 2. Ability aims: By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to: 1. use structure “be going to” to talk about the plans. 2. write a plan with the structure: be going to. 3.Predicted area of difficulty: 学生能够熟练运用be going to 结构谈论各种计划并写简单的句子。 二、Teaching methods: Task-based teaching approach, TPR, Situational language teaching, 三、Teaching aids: Pictures，cards and CAI 四、Teaching Procedures： Step I : Greetings and assessment. Divide the students into three groups. And ask them to try their best to get more stars. 设计意图：介绍评价方式并以此贯穿全课，激励学生的学习积极性。 Step II : Presentation 1. Warm up: Let’s play a bomb game! 设计意图：教师采用TPR教学法，以游戏的方式带领学生复习学过动词和动词短语，激发学生已有的知识储备，同时为后面的环节做好铺垫。 Check up 1! T: What are you going to do S2: I’m going to swim. T: Good! Now, please practice the dialogue with your partner. Check some groups! ② Teacher shows some cards with verb phrases and ask three students: What are you going to do Ss: We are going to go to the library. / We are going to fly kites. / …… ③ T: Please look at this picture carefully. What are they going to do Ss: They are going to go to school. / They are going to play soccer. / …… ④ T: They are going to ride bikes. What are you going to do S1: I am going to play the piano.
