In their simplest form, nachos are chips covered in cheese. Gumbo is a type of soup or stew from the southern United States. It can be made with chicken, sausage, shrimp or fish. People often put rice in it. The term hamburger derives from the name of the city of Hamburg in Germany. A hamburger is ground meat which has been shaped into a flat circle.
