Teaching Design of Unit 7 Look at me! 1、 教材分析 本节课是辽师大版小学快乐英语第七单元第一课时,通过之前六个单元的学习,学生们已经掌握了用英语进行简单的个人介绍,询问朋友的简单情况,表达问候、感谢等交际用语和表达学校文体活动的简单信息。在前几节课的基础上,本节课进一步学习表达有关个人情况的简单信息,通过学习,学生能了解和运用介绍自己、描述自己的基本表达形式。本单元以小丑夸张的五官引出描述自己外貌的基本句型,又以活泼可爱的小兔子形象展示了四个形容词,激发学生学习形容词的兴趣。 二、学情分析 学生在前几节英语课已学会了基本的问候语句,学习都很积极,学习热情也比较高,并学习一些经常性动作,套用上几个简单的句型,锻炼了学生实际运用能力。现在学生的英语是属于启蒙阶段,孩子们具有好奇、好活动、爱表现、善模仿等特点,学习过程要以听为主,培养学生一定的语感和良好的语音、语调基础,掌握并运用简单的语言,培养他们英语学习的积极态度,使他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心。 三、教学目标 1.能听懂、会说I’m tall. I have a big nose, a big mouth and small eyes.并能在实际情境中运用。 2.能听懂、会说、认读单词big, small, long, short。 3. 运用本单元核心语言进行自我描述和对动物特征的描述。 四、教学重点、难点 重点:学会用本单元语言描述动物或者人。 难点:本单元形容词的学习和运用。学生能根据动物的特征,对四个新词进行对比记忆。 五、教学过程 Step 1.Warming up and revision 1. Greetings. (T: Hello, boys and girls. My name is ...I am from …Now I want to know you names. What’s your name ... Nice to meet you!) 2. Do some actions.(T: I like animals See A friend comes with me. Yes, It’s a rabbit. It can run very fast. Look! Hands up, leg up, jump, jump, jump. OK, now stand up and let’s do together.) 3. Body song.(T: Do you like the rabbit Sing a song for it, OK Body song, let’s begin.) 设计意图:创设轻松愉快的英语学习氛围,增强知识的趣味性。 Step 2. Presentation and drill. 1. T: The rabbit likes taking pictures. There are some pictures of it. Number 1, it is showing it’s… Teach new words, present the sentence: I have… Write the sentences on the blackboard. 2. Play a game. Work in pairs. One choose a picture from the box, say something about it, the other guess the number by listening. 设计意图:积极引导学生用英语表达,使学生对所学单词朗朗上口。通过小游戏, 提高知识的趣味性。 Step 3. Practice. 1.Draw a rabbit. Read and draw by themselves. Then check by watching cartoons step after step. 2.Listen, read and say. Listen to the dialogue, learn to read after the recorder, say the missing words,then read in roles. 设计意图:通过绘画活动巩固学生们对语言的理解和掌握,并在对话教学中,培养语感,发展基本的听说读写技能。 Step 4. Consolidation and extension. 1. Finish the dialogue between the bear and the hunter, then read in roles. 2. Talk about you. Introduce oneself by watching the giving sentences in ppt. 设计意图:利用学生感兴趣的卡通人物吸引学生兴趣,激发学生运用英语表达的欲望,进一步促进思维能力的发展。 Step 5 Homework. 1. Read the dialogue after class . 2.
