人教版英语Go for it Unit1 What’s the matter (3a-Self Check)教学设计 教学目标 1.This topic What’s the Matter Refers to some organs of body have problems and accidents sometimes happened to people. On the basic of the names of different parts of body, students will learn more about the matter of the health: which part of the body gets ill and also come arouse the sentence pattern of giving advice by using modal verbs “should” and “shouldn’t”. 2.Through the progression of step by step, project English is to build students’ confidence, make language learning motivating and successful. What’s more, students can actively relate learning to their personal lives. 教学内容 教学重点: Get a better mastery of words which refer to the parts of the body. Talk about some health problems of body or accidents freely. Apply to give advice to others by using model verbs “should” and “shouldn’t”. 教学难点: 1. Make a conversation between the doctor and the patients. 教学过程 Step I Show the teaching and learning targets to students to let them know what the focus and difficult points in this period. Then, show students some pictures about health problems and accidents around them and ask them, “When you see these health problems and accidents happened, what should you do Do you want to be the warm-hearted person ” The students certainly answer “Yes.” So, the teacher can advise them to set up a volunteering health center to help others. Then the teacher can introduce today’s learning steps to the students. It includes four steps. They are “name the parts of the body, express the health problems and accidents, give advice and do some tests”. If students finish these four steps successfully, they can be qualified volunteering doctors. Step II Name the parts of the body. Show a picture of a man. Let students speak out the names of the body parts one by one. Correct their pronunciations and read all the words together. Then, do the Bingo Game by saying the whole sentences. Students should use the body parts’ name to fill in the blanks. Next, let students move their bodies by following the teacher to chant. Let students consolidate vocabularies in a pleasant circumstance. Step III Express the health problems and accidents. Show two pictures of Susan and Jenny. Tell students that they are the teacher’s friends. They have something wrong with them. Listen to what happened to them. Help students to find that this listening material shows some expressions like “have a toothache, cut one’s finger, eat too much” about the health problems and accidents. Let them think about the phrases about health problems and accidents on the textbooks. Try their best to write more phrases down on their mind-map paper in 3 minutes. The teacher can show students some pictures to give them the hints. Later, the teacher shows more phrases to students.
