If we have more money, we can buy a new house. 除了主谓宾、定语和补语之外的都是状语,可以是时间状语、地点状语、原因状语、条件状语、目的状语等等。(状语的成分是非常丰富的) 一、关系副词When I still remember the day. on that day=when I first came to Beijing on that day. 在从句中,I first came to Beijing是一个完整的句子了,不缺任何成分,所以需要用关系副词去充当状语成分。on that day是表示时间的,所以用when The first of October,1949, is the day when the People’s Republic of China was founded. Do you remember the day when we first met 二、关系副词Where Guangming is the school. at this school=where We first met at this school. 在从句中,We first met 是一个主谓齐全的句子,所以需要用关系副词去充当状语成分。at this school是表示地点的,所以用where This is the place where we first met.
