Unit1 My new school 【课时安排】 3课时 【第一课时】 【教学目标】 1．能听、说、读、写，并运用词汇classroom, playground, gym, library, behind, in front of。 2．能听懂、会说Listen and say中的内容。 3．能听懂、会说、会运用there be结构的句型：There is a big gym. There are thirty-six classrooms and two playgrounds。 4．小组合作完成Draw and say部分；培养学生善于观察周围的事物变化的能力。 5．能朗读和表演Let’s chant；通过多种方式的课堂活动，保持学生学习英语的兴趣。 【教学重难点】 （一）重点 1．能听、说、读、写，并运用词汇classroom, playground, gym, library, behind, in front of。 2．能听懂、会说、会运用there be结构的句型：There is a big gym. There are thirty-six classrooms and two playgrounds. （二）难点 1．library的读法和写法。 2．there be句型中的be动词的用法。可参考句子There is a big gym. There are thirty-six classrooms and two playgrounds.理解“就近原则”。 【教学准备】 英语书、PPT或部分的电子课本、单词卡片等。 【教学过程】 Step 1: Warm-up T: Hello, my children! How are you today S: Fine, thank you. T: How is your holiday Can you say something about your holiday S:... T: What a colorful holiday! Welcome back to our school. Let’s sing a happy song. Step 2: Presentation 1．教师在Free talk环节，最后一个问题设计为How do you like our school 学生会回答I love our school.这时教师可以顺势说I love it too, because our school is very beautiful. Look, this is our school. This class we will learn something about our school.教师出示本学校的整体图片，指着学校教学楼问What is it 引导学生学习新词classroom，同时加入新句型there is进行操练。 2．在学习的过程中，教师主要对句型中较难发音的there进行指导，并对学生发音进行纠正。随后出示图书馆、操场、体育馆等图片，讲授单词，在句子中进行操练。 3．教师分别和两名学生进行对话示范。第一遍，教师问学生答；第二遍，学生问教师答。然后，同桌学生看图练习对话，并进行展示汇报，教师检查反馈。教师也可以出示有很多不同教室的图片，让学生用there be句型自由描述，并引导学生逐步扩展，让学生有充分的练习空间。 4．教师可先出词汇短语如desks/ in the classroom, books/ in the library, students/ on the playground。教师接下来问How many classrooms are there 引导学生学习there be的复数表达形式，并进行操练。 5．there are句型操练结束后，教师出示学校图片，例如操场、教学楼、图书馆、体育馆及很多教室，让学生四人一小组合作进行描述。然后通过单复数词组的变化，让学生进行there is与there are之间的转换，从而更明确两者的区别。 6．当学生在描述教室物品时，教师适时地呈现behind和in front of方位词，让学生感知这两个方位词。 7．教师可以这样说：“David来到了一个新的学校，让我们看看他的新校园吧。”随后正式带领学生翻开书，听录音跟读Listen and say部分的内容；然后听录音模仿跟读，自读。课文中的主要单词和句型在前面的教学中都已解决，因此学生对课文内容很容易掌握。接着教师可与学生一起讨论David的新校园，为学生分析课文，帮助他们加深对课文的理解。 8．接着教师可邀请学生上台表演课文内容，并让全班同学配对进行pair work，从而让所有学生都参与进来。 9．听唱Let’s chant，教师也可以自编，加上节奏，调节课堂的气氛。教师说：There’s... in your bag.
