Warming-up 1. Greetings. 2. Introduce a new friend ,Xiaomei. 3. Enjoy a video about restaurant. 【设计意图】 通过介绍小美，课本中的服务员，串联本节课。欣赏不同国家，不同餐厅，不同食物导入本节课话题 restaurant。 Step 2. Lead in 1.Free talk：What do you want to eat ？ 2.通过问题 What do Tom and father want to eat 引出 They’ll go to a Chinese restaurant. 【设计意图】通过复习第一课句型及内容，引出他们要去中餐厅的原因，有效衔接到本节课。 Step 3. Presentation 1. 学习图片 1Tom一家来到中餐厅点餐，通过 watch the video回答小美是怎么询问 Tom和 father的？学习本节课重点句型：What would you like？ 【设计意图】通过看视频，让学生对课文整体了解，并学习重要句型 What would you like 2. 学习图 2 T：Tom wants to know what mum would like How does he ask He says ：“ What would you like mom ”注意 mom用声调。 T：What would mom like Please read p2 and p3 aloud and underline the key words, then choose. Mom says: I’d like rice and potatoes .通过自然拼读学习单词 potato，并区分单复数。 师生互动：Now let’s practise .I’m Tom, you’re mum.
