Nice to meet you. My name is Li, you can call me Miss.Li. I’m from Sanqiao Middle school. Are you happy today I’m happy too. If you are happy, you can stand up/ sit down /clap your hands. Then introduce the content and learning goals that Ss will learn. Step2 Review(3mins) Compare the given pictures using superlatives and comparative levels. (elicit answers from students to check their levels of mastery). Then summarize the rules that how to change original forms of adj/adv to their superlatives and comparative levels. Step 3 Warming up 1. To play a video and lead in the topic—talent show and performer.(2mins) T: Do you want to relax OK,Let’s watch a video. I think you‘ll enjoy it. Wow. What do you think of the video Ss: I think it’s unbelievable/magical/excellent/super/great/amazing. T: What kind of show is that Ss: Talent show.(达人秀) T: Do you have a talent show in your school Do you want to be a performer like him (Teach the new word“ performer ” and write it on the board). 2. Now I’ll give you a chance to be a performer. I’d like to divide the whole class into 4 groups. This is Group 1, 2, 3, 4. If your group do a good job, I will give you one star.
