专题三 定语从句 引入 e.g.1.I am longing for a good grade_____can make me go to an ideal university. e.g.2.You are the kind of friend_____I am waiting for. e.g.3.The little girl has to keep taking the medicine in the box_____will eventually cure her illness. 一、定语从句为（ ）词性从句，通常跟在一个名词后对其进行修饰。 二、两词 （一）先行词：被（ ）修饰和说明的对象。可以指人、（ ）或句子等；通常定语从句紧随先行词后，有时也可以在中间插入一些状语。 （二）关系词：连接（ ）和定语从句的连词。 1.分为（ ）和（ ）。 2.关系代词在定语从句中可以作为主语、（ ）或定语等成分。3.关系副词在定语从句中只能作为（ ），表示时间、地点和原因。 4.关系代词有（ ）个，关系副词有（ ）个，可总结为“369”定则。 三、关系代词和关系副词的区分 关系词 先行词指代 定从中成分 定从中作（ ）可省 关代：who whom which that whose as 关副：when where why 注意： 选择关系代词whose时，其后紧接的名词与（ ）有所属关系。 关系副词不能用what和（ ）。 way作先行词且定语从句中缺状语时，可用（ ）来引导。 4.表地点的先行词不一定都是具体的，也可以抽象化。常考可以作为抽象地点的名词如activity，（ ），area,（ ），stage，（ ），platform，（ ），atmosphere，（ ）等。 e.g.1.I didn’t see the book_____cover is purple. e.g.2.I will never forget the days_____I made my great efforts to prepare for the college entrance examination. e.g.3.The wallet was lost at the shopping center_____he bought a present for his mother. e.g.4.We all will face the hard situation_____we must make decisions on our own. e.g.5.Having a cold isn’t the real reason_____he was absent from the class meeting. e.g.6.I truly admire the way_____she treats people. 四、定语从句跟在一个介词后的情况 e.g.1.Yuxi is the city_____I live now. e.g.2.Yuxi is the city_____I live in now. e.g.3.Yuxi is the city in_____I live now. e.g.4.There are plenty of people in the lecture hall,none of_____are my colleagues. e.g.5.This letter is being written by me to you,_____ I would like to offer you an invitation. （一）复习：vi. + prep. =（ ） （二）prep. + （ ）定语从句 当定语从句跟在一个介词后时，关系词通常只能选择（ ） 和（ ）。选择时看先行词，指物就用（ ），指人就用（ ）。 五、拓展：prep.+ which = when/where/why （一）in/on/at/before/after/during… + which =（ ） （二）in/at/under/on/above/up/down… + which =（ ） （三）（ ） + which = why e.g.1.I had experienced the English training time,during _____my English improved. e.g.2.He found a tall tree,under_____he escaped a heavy rain. e.g.3.Too much homework shouldn’t be the reason,for_____you didn’t memorize your words. 六、非限制性定语从句 从句类别 限制性定语从句 非限制性定语从句 结构 作用 先行词 关系词 e.g.1.She is the professor,_____we all are familiar with. e.g.2.The sports meeting has been put off,_____makes us a little upset. 七、只用that来引导定语从句的情况 最好第几不一定，特指是人也是物 e.g.1.It isn’t the worst weather_____we have experienced in the past few days. e.g.2.That little dog is the first gift_____was given by my mother. e.g.3.There is something in my heart_____makes me badly worried. e.g.4.You ... ...
