课题Module 6 A trip to the zoo Unit 2 The tigers live in Asia. Learning Objectives 学习目标经过本课的学习,作为学生能够: 1.语言能力(Language ability)通过略读和详读,能运用一般现在时第三人称单数描述不同的动物、栖息地以及它们的习性,发展自身的语言实践能力。 2.思维品质(Thinking ability)通过小组合作,讨论思考应为动物做些什么,锻炼自己的批判性思维,认清事物的两面性。 3.文化意识(Cultural awareness)通过学习认识到生态环境对动物生存的影响,培养爱护动物、保护生态的意识,了解不同地区文化差异。4.学习能力(Learning ability)在自主学习和小组合作中,能够主动询问、讨论疑难,提高自主和合作学习能力。 Teaching Key Points and Difficult Points教学重难点 1.Key points: 正确使用行为动词的三单形式来介绍动物的行为与习性。突破措施:根据各种动物的习性,对其进行描述,对行为动词三单进行充分练习运用。 2.Difficult points: 脱离课本进行英语交流讨论,看到事物两面性,培养批判性思维。突破措施:通过角色扮演,多次练习进行突破。 Teaching Procedure教学步骤 教师活动 学生活动 评价活动 Step1 Warming up and lead-in 1.Ask students : Do you like animals 2.Show students some pictures and play a guessing game, ask them questions such as: What does the animal look like What do you know about the animal Students guess what is the animal, and then answer questions using general present pattern. 教师观察学生能否参与互动与交流,是否进入上课状态,并对学生表现及时作出评价。 设计意图: 通过猜动物的游戏开启课堂帷幕,营造轻松快乐的课堂氛围,同时为后边讲解小动物作铺垫。———紧扣学习目标1 Step 2 Pre-reading Show a world map and show them pictures of animals and make sentences using the words as instructed. eg. —Where does the panda live —The panda lives in China.
