第14讲 新课预习八上 Module1 How to learn English Unit 1 Let's try to speak English as much as possible. 1. 通过本单元学习，使自己找到真正的学习英语的有效方法，以便为了日后的更加深入地学习好英语这门课程而打下坚实的基础。 2. 熟练掌握本单元生词及短语。例如；a pair of，advice，forget， correct，practise，match，meaning等的基本用法。 重点单词 知识点梳理 1.Work in pairs. (P2) pair/pe / n.（相关的）两个人，一对a pair of表示“一双/副”，后常接表示成双成对的复数名词。 eg：Let’s act out the dialogue in pairs.让我们两人一组表演对话吧。 The pair are planning a trip to India together.这对夫妇正计划一起去印度旅行。 “...pair(s)of+可数名词复数”作主语时，谓语动词的单复数应与pair 的单复数保持一致。 eg：This pair of shoes is mine. 这双鞋是我的。 2.Correct the spelling. （P2）correct/k ’rekt/ v. 改正，纠正correct v. 改正；纠正 eg：You must correct the bad habits. 你必须改正这些坏习惯。 Can you correct my pronunciation 你能纠正我的发音吗？ 拓展correct adj. 正确的（同义词right，反义词wrong/incorrect） correctly adv. 正确地 eg： Choose the correct order according to the passage.根据短文选择正确的顺序。 Can you spell it correctly 你能正确拼写它吗？ 3.Practise saying the words. （P2) practise /'pr ktIs/ v. 练习 practise 后可跟名词、代词和动词的-ing 形式，不能接不定式。practise的基本意思是“练习”、“训练”。 eg：He usually wants to practise his English on me.他通常想跟我练习英语。 You need to practise playing the piano every day.你需要每天练习弹钢琴。 拓展practise和 practice，在英国英语中，两者分别是动词和名词；但在美国英语中，没有区分，都可以是动词或名词，两词发音一样，作名词时作“练习”讲一般为不可数名词。 4.Match the words with their meanings.（P2) match /m t / v. 找到与……相配之物，使相配；使成对 match 的用法 n. 比赛，火柴→matches v. 匹配，相配→match...with... eg：They played a match against another school.他们同另一所学校进行了比赛。 Please match the pictures with these words.请把图片和这些单词匹配起来。 5.meaning /mi n / n. 意义；意思（P2) What’s the meaning of... (=What does...mean )……是什么意思？ eg：What’s the meaning of the word “grammar” =What does the word “grammar” mean “grammar” 这个单词是什么意思？ 6.look up （P2) look up 查，查找look up是由动词＋副词构成的短语，名词作宾语时可放在中间或后面，代词作宾语时必须放在动副短语之间。类似的短语有：write down, put up 等。 Let’s look up the opening time on the Internet.咱们在网上查查开放时间吧。 I don’t know the word. Please help me look it up in the dictionary. 我不认识这个单词，请帮我在词典里查一下。 拓展：与look 有关的短语look for寻找；look over检查； look after照顾； look at看； look around环顾四周。 7. advice的动词形式为advise。（P2) advise和suggest的辨析advise v.建议，常用于advise sb. to do sth. 结构；He advises me to have a good rest.他建议我好好休息一下。 8.suggest v.建议，（P2) 不可用于suggest sb. to do sth.结构，其后可接动 词的ing形式 I suggest having a good rest.我建议好好休息一下。 9.We should always speak English in class.（P2) should / d/ v.aux. 应该should 是情态动词，表示建议、责任或 ... ...
