What he saw and heard that night confirmed his belief that the pub was haunted. confirm证实，肯定：指以事实或可靠的材料来表明已知的事情是真实的或正确的。 ★suggest v. 提醒 ★truth 真相，真实性 A perfect alibi 极好的不在犯罪现场的证据 Alibi基本上是法律用语，指受指控的案件发生时，不在现场。在口语中alibi也可以用excuse（借口）用，但这类借口往往是杜撰出来的。 1、And you didn't notice anything unusual 这是一个陈述疑问句，如： You’re out of work 不定代词anything，something等被形容词修饰时，形容词必须跟在不定代词之后： This isn’t anything important.
