Period 5 （Section B 3a-Self Check） 设计说明 在复习完上节课所学知识后，利用一个猜谜游戏激发学生的兴趣，导入新课。呈现有关鲸的一些图片，引导学生通过看图讨论他们所知道的相关信息。还可以播放一些人类捕杀鲸的视频或保护鲸的公益广告。学生可以归纳出鲸更多的特点和生存现状。引导学生阅读3a中的单词和短语，并将它们填到表格中相关的问题后面。核对答案后，鼓励学生两人一组进行问答，要求学生用完整的句子回答，为后面的写作打好基础。在学生根据3a中的信息完成一篇关于鲸的说明文之后，分组制作海报，并选择部分学生展示所写的海报，让其他学生参与评价。 Self Check是检测学生对本单元重点语法的掌握情况，因此让学生独立完成活动之后，仅核对答案即可。 教学目标 1. 知识目标 （1）掌握单词：whale，oil，protection，huge。 （2）完成Self Check。 2. 能力目标 通过罗列事实及数据，初步学习说明文的写作。 3. 情感目标 教育学生关爱动物，关爱自然，保护我们赖以生存的自然环境。 重点难点 1. 重点： （1）通过罗列事实及数据，初步学习说明文的写作。 （2）检测学生对形容词原级、比较级、最高级的掌握以及程度副词的运用，总结本单元所学的语法。 2. 难点： 说明文的写作。 教学准备 图片，多媒体课件。 教学过程 Step 1 Leading in Retell the information about the pandas.
