Module 4 Seeing the doctor Unit 3 Language in use 设计说明 本单元是复习单元,主要复习巩固现在完成时的用法,以及for和since表示时间段的用法。虽然是复习课,但在教学时应挖掘教材内容的深度和广度,要在复习中拓展知识含量,使学生练全、练广、练深。先从复习第二单元的课文入手,接着用师生交谈的方式口头复习how long引导的疑问句及用for或since表示的时间段作答;由此加深学习,学习延续性动词和非延续性动词。活动5是个很实用的会话,要求学生当堂表演;活动6是语篇,在完成教材任务前先设置几个问题,加深学生对语篇的理解。增加模块任务的难度,最后要求学生写出适合自己的锻炼方式,并向全班同学展示。 教学目标 通过本单元的学习,让学生达成以下目标 1.知识目标: (1)复习巩固本模块所学的生词和短语 (2)复习巩固现在完成时的用法 2.能力目标: 能运用现在完成时表达健康的生活方式 3.情感目标: 根据自己的健康状况制订合适的运动计划; 关心他人,为他人提出合理化的健康建议 重点难点 重点:用for和since表达时间段;复习巩固现在完成时的用法 难点:延续性动词和非延续性动词 教学准备 PPT课件,活动6、7的录音 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1. Check the homework. Get some students to retell the passage in Unit 2. 2. Have a dialogue with the class by asking the following questions: Do you have a … How long have you had it Can you play football/… How long have you played… Step 2 Asking and answering (Activity 1) 1. Get students to ask and answer the questions in Activity 1 in pairs. Then check them. 2. Grammar: (1)for+时间段,since+过去的时间点 (2)延续性动词/表状态的动词或短语+时间段 非延续性动词+时间段 (3)非延续性动词可以和延续性动词进行转换 ① 转化为“be+形容词/副词” die → be dead leave → be away (from) open/close → be open/closed stop → be over arrive in(at) /reach/get to → be in/at join → be a member of/be in start/begin → be on ②转化为意思相同的延续性动词 borrow → keep buy → have become/come→be get to know→know Step 3 Completing the questionnaire Complete the questionnaire about healthy living according to the experience. Use since or for where necessary. Then check the class. Step 4 Completing the sentences(Activity 3) Get the class to complete the sentences by themselves. Then check them.
