课件网) 2024中考英语二轮复习 语法专项 并列句和并列连词 并列句 并列句是由并列连词把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起而构成的句子，各分句意义同等重要，密切联系，无从属关系。并列句的结构一般为“简单句+并列连词+简单句”。在并列连词中，and表示并列关系；while (意为“然而”)，but等表示转折关系；or表示选择关系(意为“或者”)，也可表示条件关系(意为“否则，要不然”)；so表示因果关系。如： I like basketball and I like football, too. (并列关系) In the same place, some people are very rich while others are poor. (转折关系) He’s 25 years old, but he still can’t take care of himself. (转折关系) Are you going to stay here another day, or are you going back with us today (选择关系) Get up early, or we won’t catch the first bus. (条件关系) The weather was bad today, so they didn’t have a picnic. (因果关系) 【注意】 while用作并列连词表示转折关系时，强调前后两者鲜明的对比。如： Jack is lively and active while his brother is quiet. 连词按性质主要分两类：并列连词和从属连词。本部分我们主要关注并列连词。 并列连词 表顺承、并列和递进 表转折和对比 表选择 表因果 and, both…and…, as well as, not only…but also…, neither…nor… but, yet, while either…or…, or…, not…but… so, for 知识导图 用并列连词连接的两个或两个以上的简单句组成的句子叫作并列句。这部分内容常见考点归纳如下： 考点一： and表示并列、顺承关系。 考点二： or表示选择关系，意为“或；还是”，通常用在肯定句和选择疑问句中。在否定句中连接并列成分时，则表示“也不”。 考点三：and / or常用于句型“祈使句 (,) + and / or ...”中。and 表示“那么；则”，or 表示“否则”，祈使句具有条件句的含义。 考点四：but, yet表示转折关系。 考点五：so, for表示因果关系。for通常是对前面的情况加以解释，不能回答why引导的问句。 考点六：其他并列连词有both...and...，as well as，not…but， not only...but also...， neither...nor... 和 either...or...。 【温馨提示】 1. both ... and ... 连接两个主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。 2. as well as 连接两个主语时，谓语动词应该与前面的主语在人称和数上保持一致。 3. not only ... but also ...，neither ... nor ... 和either ...or... 连接两个主语时，谓语动词常与but also, nor或or 后面的主语在人称和数上保持一致，也就是遵循就近一致的原则。 4. because和so、though/although (虽然)和but不能同时出现在一个句子里，只能用其一。 5. 在否定句中，如果所连接的两部分都有否定词，那么用and，而不用or。 e.g. There is no food and no water in this room. 6. 在否定句中，without之后若有列举成分，用and连接，构成完全否定；在肯定句中，without之后若有列举成分，用or连接，才能构成完全否定。 e.g. We can’t live without air and water.
