Helen's hands are beautiful. This is my brothers' room. There are five books on the shelf. Eric is the boy from New York. He is a friend of mine. 现在，你能更深刻地理解什么是定语了吗？ 定语是用来修饰、限定、说明名词或代词的品质与特征的。 “我不喜欢懒人” I don’t like lazy people. 提问：定语是哪一个？修饰的是哪一个？ 回答：定语是“lazy”, 定语lazy修饰的是“people”. 这句话怎么说？ “我不喜欢总是迟到的人。” 如果，我想表达稍微复杂一点的意思 . . . I don’t like the person who is never on time. 这句话怎么说？ 这时候，我们发现很难找到一个很短的词去表达“总是迟到的”，这个时候，我们就需要用一个句子去帮助我们表达 提问：定语是哪一个？修饰的是哪一个？ 回答：定语是“w ho is never on time”, 这个定语修饰的是“person”. 我们就把这个用来作定语的句子叫做“定语从句”。 1.I don’t like lazy people. 2.I don’t like the person who/that is never on time. 我们再来对比一下： 提问： 句①的定语是什么？ 句②的定语是什么？ 句②的定语从句有什么特点？放在什么位置？用什么词连接？ 定语从句 当简单地用形容词作定语很难表达的时候，我们就要借助一个句子来修饰。那么一个句子用来作定语，我们叫做定语从句。 “我不喜欢不守信用的人” I don’t like people who/that never keep their word. 提问：定语从句是哪部分？定语从句修饰的是哪个词？定语从句有什么特点？定语从句放在哪里？ 定语从句的两个重要概念： 先行词 & 关系词 被定语从句所修饰的对象。 先行词 重复指代先行词，起连接主句和定语从句的词。 在之前的例子中，我们看到两个：that 和 who 关系词 We like the teachers （who/that are kind）. I have a sister （who/that teachers Math）. I knew the girl （who/that you saw in our schoo）. The first thing （that we should do is to get some food）. The boy （who/that is sing is my brother）. The first book （that I read is Harry Porter）. 关系词 与先行词关系 who 指“人” We like the teachers who are kind. that 可以指“人”， 也可以指“物” We like the teachers that are kind. The first book that I read is Harry Porter. 关系词： who & that 填写正确的关系词： 1.That's the man _____ stole my purse! 2.That's the jacket _____l want to buy. 3.That's the girl _____ won the race. 4.The students _____ do well on the exam will be allowed to leave early. 5.We saw the cat _____ lives in the house next door. 6.The airport _____ is being built will be the largest in the country. 7.
